NASA’s Webb telescope spotted a new moon orbiting Uranus

Like Uranus's other 28 moons, the newfound object spotted by JWST will be named after a William Shakespeare or Alexander Pope character.

NASA's James Webb Telescope discovers 300 mysterious bright objects that could rewrite cosmic history
    www.wionews.com
A team of astronomers from the University of Missouri, using the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), has spotted 300 unusually bright objects in the distant universe, possible early galaxies that may upend current theories of how galaxies formed after the Big Bang.

Although humanity is getting better at sending robotic probes out into the Solar System to explore the places no human can tread, we're still very much on a learning curve.

You’re looking at an image of the first black hole ever photographed.

This supermassive black hole resides at the heart of galaxy M87, about 55 million light-years from Earth.

In April 2019, it made history when the Event Horizon Telescope project released the first-ever direct image of a black hole.

Over the past two decades, NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory has observed M87 multiple times, deepening our understanding of this cosmic giant - an object with a mass 6.5 billion times that of the Sun.
