Early childhood educators were introduced STEM practices including: teaching via inquiry-based practices, reflective journaling, engineering design process, 4Cs of STEM, design thinking, materials science, shapes and patterns, building with recyclable materials and materials from nature, reverse engineering, and incorporating children's literature to reinforce STEM content. The Learning Station located in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic is one of the first early childhood schools in the country to incorporate STEM and STEAM experiences with young children.
