EA has updated Madden 22's rosters for Week 3 to be in line with the performance of Week 2. The update this week didn't include any major surprises, but certain players received a boost in their ratings.

It was notable that there was a 2 point rise in Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski's overall rating. He's gone from an overall rating of 86 to an overall rating of 89 within just two weeks. He certainly deserves it. Through two weeks of play, Gronk has already scored four touchdowns while racking 12 receptions and 129 yards. Gronk has been in great form to start the year and I'm guessing it won't be his last of his ratings to rise.

Another star player to see a ratings increase is Kansas City Chiefs strong safety Tyrann Mathieu. After missing the start of Week 1 due to a positive COVID test, Mathieu made his season debut in the game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. It was a fantastic debut as Honey Badger recorded two interceptions and one touchdown. Mathieu's Awareness rating and catch rate increase by one point to a 99 & 82, respectively. His overall rating is now 96.

After a strong rebound performance in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks, Titans running back Derrick Henry saw some ratings changed, but he's still at a 96 % overall. Henry's initial rating was shocking to some fans who thought he was a top running back in the league. Henry certainly proved his case for buy mut coins his position with 182 yards of rushing and three touchdowns in Week 2. Henry's catch went up two points and a 64. However, his break tackle dropped three points to a 92.
